View from the Highline in NYC
A good week was had by all. Saw Kurt Elling. (I interviewed him for my masters thesis on creative collaboration in my old academic-y days). Watched some foreign film - I've developed a BIG love for Argentinian film. Smooches to actor Ricardo Darin! And the usual - a bit of working out, a lot of time with the man and the girl. The weather has been perfect, I tell you, perfect, which means lovely 20 minute walks to and from the girl's school.
Let's get started.
T minus 120 days or so til AltSLC! How to attend a conference will help you get you ready.
Forget about learning more Photoshop - Europe's finest city, design and culture bloggers met yesterday in Amsterdam to discuss the urban future. Sniff - wish I coulda been there!

Is this the world's most iconic photographic STUNT?
What can I say, I am on a funk roll right now. This week it's Earth, Wind & Fire from 1975 on the tv show Midnight Special singing Shining Star. That's REALLY singing - no lipsyncing here. LOVE the outfits and the naturals. That'd be the hair.
I have a new series starting next week - I'm always thinking about something new for you, my friends.
I'm all about sharpening my blogging skills and as part of that, next week I start BYW Boot Camp. It's run by the amazing and talented Holly Becker of Decor8 fame. Four weeks of amazing content from Holly, Nicole Balch of Making It Lovely, and Jeanette Lunde of By Fryd. There are still a few spots available - you have until Sunday, October 7th to sign up. Join me!
This weekend we're off to visit the 'rents for Canadian Thanksgiving. Cousins, aunts & uncles, turkey, walks in the country. It'll be good. How about you?
