Twas the Friday before Season 5 of Mad Men...

...and all through the cottage there were links to yummy Mad Men goodness.

Here's what I found this week that grabbed me.

Kerry Clare of Pickle Me This (she does amazing book reviews) pointed me in the direction of the definitive Mad Men reading list.

How about an opinion from someone who lived in the Mad Men days?

If you have some time, watch this fab interview with the cast and creator Matt Weiner.

A Mad Men musical remix set to the 1966 Diana Ross hit Keep Me Hanging On.

So you can guess where I will be on Sunday night - where many of us will be. Not hosting a party for the premiere episode but there will be Harvey Wallbanger cocktails to drink and perhaps a pig-in-a-blanket or two to munch on.

If you are missing Downton Abbey at all, here are the characters if they were dogs.

Scoot over here and start stealing: "It's not where you take things from, it's where you take them to" - Jean-Luc Godard.

Look what I made for my homework for the tabletop photography class that I am taking. It was so much fun to do.

Speaking of classes, you MUST scoot over here and sign up for my friend Jen's ALT class on writing and finding your voice. I'll be there!

What else is on for this weekend?

  • Some yoga and spinning
  • It's actually going to be SUNNY here so we will probably break out the bikes
  • Cooking and freezing and stocking up so we have something to eat during the week
  • And photography of course - that goes without saying, right?

How about you? What do you have planned?

P.S. Don't forget to check out Monday's next installment of my column "Where We Create"!
