It's Friday Again!

This week began with more of that PNW spring rain. We broke out what we call around here "bubble juice" and hung out on the front steps under the overhang.

Here are some inspiring and intriguing places that I visited this week...

More analysis-paralysis of Don Draper's new apartment with details on the specific items. I am in the midst of planning a redo of the basement media room (fancy words for couch + tv) and that grasscloth wallpaper is calling...

Take a peek at the beauty that is the making of a book. I have an e-reader (Kobo for me) but I still have bookshelves full of books and still buy books. There is something about holding a new book in your hands - the feel, the smell, the weight. I don't think that I will ever give up 100% on paper books.

I sooo want to make this and eat it RIGHT NOW! Rhubarb and Meyer lemons - throw in Colin Firth and you'd have me for life...

You know the Sartorialist, right? Amazing, fashionable people. Well, I just recently discovered Betsy over here where she is spending a year revamping her style. She's inspired me to up my game a bit - or at least come close to wearing all those clothes hanging in my closet.

Just because I love the show, here's an interview with Merritt Wever from Nurse Jackie. The new season starts this weekend! I know I had a Harvey Wallbanger for Mad Men and a Seattle microbrew for the Killing but I REALLY cannot think of what to have for Nurse Jackie. More beer perhaps because of Kevin's bar?

And if you want to get to know a bit more about me and other creative families, check out Jen's blog here

Have a lovely weekend everyone - get out and move, see some art, and laugh a few times. Maybe make something. Next week I have another peek at someone's space in my series "where we create" and will also be announcing a new series. And another "before and after"...
